Lecturer in Modern/Contemporary Art
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, invites applications for a three-year lecturer position (with the possibility of renewal) in either Modern or Contemporary Art, beginning August, 2009. The successful candidate should also be able to teach one or more of the following: popular arts, arts management, and/or visual studies. The position requires excellence in teaching and scholarship, as well as involvement in college and departmental service. Course load: 4 classes per semester. Qualifications: Master’s degree required (Ph.D. preferred), plus college teaching experience and/or museum or gallery experience.
