The Sculpture Center's call for artists for the juried After the Pedestal, the 5th Annual of Small Sculpture from the Region (June 5 - July 25) is now open through April 6. This year's eminent juror is Paola Morsiani, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Cleveland Museum of Art and former Senior Curator at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, TX.
After the Pedestal is open to all artists from Ohio, its contiguous states (Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania), and Ontario, Canada, working in all media of sculpture, including installation, conceptual work, and performance video if object based. Up to three smaller works completed within the last three years and not previously exhibited in northeastern Ohio may be submitted for consideration.
