Resource Interactive is looking for Creative Interns for Fall 2008. We
are looking for a Design Intern and a Content Intern. Internships will
be paid ($14/hour).
Specific Majors Preferred: Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design
Brief Description of Intern's Responsibility:
1.) Intern, Design
PRACTICE + STUDIO DESIGN RESPONSIBILITES:
*Production and design execution for websites, banner ads,prototypes and client presentations under the supervision of Designersand/or Senior Designers
*Precise graphic design execution and continuing growth in creative concept development and exploration
*Willing to take direction and learn new software skills
*Must be team-oriented, dedicated, inquisitive, self-motivated and collaborative
2.) Intern, Content
PRACTICE + STUDIO CONTENT RESPONSIBILITES:
*Support Content Editors and Senior Content Editors in info-gathering
*Responsible for being resourceful and assistin in the creaion of and editing content
*Strategic thinker with strong information management, written and oral communication skills
*Help translate the strategy into creative, how to work with individual designers, and how best to prepare and maintain copy for development purposes
*Seek out best practices
*Read and contribute to RI Creative Blog
Both interns may also be asked to help with:
MARKETING + BIZ DEV DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Print work:
*Capabilities + speaking presentations in .ppt
*Marketing kit materials, print design + production
*Create charts, graphs for .ppt presentations
*Design and produce internal signage, photos, business cards, party stuff
*Order art supplies w/preferred vendors + maintain mock-up area
*New associate on-boarding binders
Web work:
*Update Resource.com graphics
*Update awards extranet sites
*The Limelight Email newsletter
*Back fill production design duties in studios as needed
